indoors Arrival Story: Sir Lancelot (rescue kitten) He was who our daughter Laura dearly fell in love with and so did we. Sir Lancelot was very gentle and quiet. They figured due to his meek and quietness he probably would not thrive and would likely die.
They just didn't count on the LOVE of a child to pamper and snuggle and take care of her little Sir Lancelot which she named herself. Laura and he became inseparable he followed her everywhere. he was a very different kitty. He didn't catch mice but he was superb at catching grasshoppers!!! Needless to say he brought her those regularly.
Sir Lancelot was our house cat we usually didn't let him outside and if he were out we were with him and he stayed with us. Well Babysitters...are sometimes difficult to train....are they not! Our poor Sir Lancelot was left outside and he attempted to "cross" the busy street and unsuccessfully. Oh my luckily of course I was looking for him when I came home from work I found him and was able to rush him to the emergency Dr.s ASAP. God was with us Angels protected us.
Sir Lancelot's back legs were-smashed and had to be pinned back together his beautiful tail was gone now but he just might pull through. He was in God's hands and Sir Lancelot's will to live. Now Laura and all of us were just devastated, we took turns CARING for him 24 hrs.a day letting him know we were there for him. Giving him medicine and nursing his wounds.
