indoors Arrival Story: We adopted Rex when he was 7 years old. I had wanted a Devon Rex for ages, having fallen in love with a friends' lovely Rex. My husband and I drove 10 hours round trip (nearly into the next state) to pick him up.
When we brought him home he seemed rather underweight and bit dirty. I soon discovered he was completely infested with fleas, and what I thought to be ear mites. I took him to the vet and discovered that he had 2 horrible ear infections, a ruptured ear drum and the vast majority of his teeth were abscessed. Nearly a year, and several vets later, Rex is completely toothless, but happy and healthy with his ears healing nicely.
