OMC... Kitten Invasion!!

Hello world...its me Lizzy.
im sorry i havent written but my Mommy has been furry busy since the last time i got her to write for me.
Last night i was just finishing off my dinner when i heard the zipper on my house open. What? im already eating...what does Mom want?
Before i knew it i was joined by 6 furry wetandscaredandhungry kittens!
Hmmmmm. Do i know you guys?? Why, yes, i think, um, i think i left you behind in the wall about a week ago...yes it is you!!
i was joined by my 5 sisfurs and 1 orange brofur!
Hooray!! How did this happen... im sleepy, i will let Mom tell you...

Last night 6 kittens came out from under our landlords house...we've been expecting them, and there they were. So, with the help of my husband and friend Margaret, i made ready the bath water and towels and blankets...one by one they brought them to me. i bathed each one and wrapped them in towels and put them in a carrier for their trip inside.
We took 5, but left the friendliest one behind in case there were more. (This morning we grabbed her because there were no more).
They all made a kitten pile once in the dog crate with Lizzy. i made them some food...their FIRST meal...awwww. Within minutes the food had disappeared! Hungry little monsters they were.
They spent a restful night with Lizzy and this afternoon, we took 5 babies to the New Rochelle Humane Society. They didnt have very many kittens, so we have all our paws crossed that they will find their furever homes quickly. They were all so precious. We wish we could have done more, but with Lizzy and now little Oreo, we are FULL...seriously.
The twist in the story is this. We have 2 females that had litters around the same time. Sadly, our tuxedo Oreo, born with 3 feet, was killed on July 21, leaving behind her kittens so Mama, our Calico girl, took over their care. Mama is constantly outdoing herself in our book. She amazes us...and she is 10!
We are sad that our babies are gone, but we know we gave them their best chance at the best life possible.

So yeah, thats what happened!
5 babies went to find their furever homes and me and Oreo are hanging out together. i have to show her the routine around here.
im not going to tell her, but i bet she will be going to the v-e-t tomorrow!

another day, another kitten...or 2 or 6!

Hello world...
My new Mommy is now a new Mommy to 6 more kitten!
Some are my litter mates, and some are from Mama, the other female outside.
Today Mommy fed me my nummy dinner and then went out to feed them outside when kitten after kitten came out from under the landlords house.
That means i have more in my litter from my mamacat Oreo(RIP) and Mama has some of her own and she took care of ALL of us.
i was a bold little girl and made my way out sooner so here i am inside with my new loving furmily.
The others arent so lucky.
Mom says we are FULL UP.
i ate...im FULL UP too...heeheeheheee.
No but really Mom is beside herself with worry about these other babies.
Tomorrow she will round up as many as she can and find someplace to take them.
If anyone is near us in the Bronx NY and would like a liddle kitten, please paw mail us.

Oh, i almost furgot...i got another heart yesterday from Raven^PAWS^.
She said:

i really am the LUCKY one....im sad for all the others outside...

3 days inside and my life is so different!

Hello World...
Its me, Lucky Lizzy again.
Since you last heard from me, i have been furry busy.
i learned how to eat my yummy food from a bowl...my very own bowl. And i have a matching water bowl, too.
i have been mostly staying in the big canvas doggie crate when Mom & Dad have to go out. They say its for my own good because there are all kinds of places on this boat where i could hide and Mom says its too dangerous. When i gain a few more pounds, i can come out and meet all my new brofurs and sisfurs. For now, i have been getting to know them one by one. They all visit me and look in through the screen door and windows. im not scared of them either!
i am so happy to have made so many new furiends already... and i want to say here a big THANK YOU to all of you for the warm welcome and special rosettes you have sent to me. They make my page pretty and they make Mom smile...so thank you to:

Hello World!!

Hi, it's me, Lucky Lizzy!
i dont have much to write yet because i am just 6 weeks old and this is my 2nd day in my new furever home.
Yesterday a nice lady named Elizabeth (hence my name) heard me crying in the sea wall and lured me out with some ham.
*yum*
My catmama, Oreo, was killed in the street 6 days ago so i was all alone until Elizabeth heard my pitiful cries for help.
i may be only one pound right now, but i have a BIG spirit...and a STRONG will to live.
i was living in the nasty wall and one day my mama didnt come back. i waited and slept and waited some more, but she never came back.
*sobs*
So i knew i needed help.
Elizabeth took me right to my Mom & Dad because they are the Crazy Cat People. Mom knew just what to do.
i had fleas and was very dirty so i had my FIRST bath before i even went inside my new house(boat).
i ate a lot of turkey baby food which was really yummy. Then i curled up in my new pink blankie and went to sleep.
For now, i have my own kitten house with my own litter box and food and water. And there are so many toys too...still plenty of room for me and my pink blankie though.
i had a good nights sleep last night and this morning Mom & Dad took me to meet my new vet. She was a nice lady, till she took my temperature*there*! It was normal so i got my first vaccination. i was a good girl too. Everyone there ooohed and ahhhhhed over me and said i was cute.
Well, i am cute!! HeeHee.
i'll write more as my life progresses.
