Arrival Story:
My friend who lived in a basement apartment had a stray cat visiting him everyday, and one day she gave birth to a litter of 4 kittens in his apartment. Thanta was the last to be born, and was the runt of the litter. I took him and Grizzley home.

Bio:
When he first came home, Thanta was always hungry. He would put his front paws in the food dish and bury his entire face in the food, and make this loudest noises as if he's gobbling up the food, purring like there is no tomorrow, for at least 30 minutes each feeding. But after all that noise, the food remained the same, but he sucked up all the juice out of the food. I had to clean up his face very fast because otherwise the food on his face would dry up and he was very uncomfortable. I still smile remembering his face with his eyes almost closed with food dried up... I think he never got over the fact that he didn't get much of mom's milk when he was born, so he continued to eat and eat and eat. At his prime, he was 19lbs! He knew how to wake me up at 4am so that he could eat. First he would just sit on my chest and stare at me. Then I got used to it, so he started putting his paw on my face. I got used to that eventually, so he started letting his nails out puttins the slightest pressure. I got used to that after a while, and he started running his nails down my cheek ever so gently so that I don't get scratches, but enough to scare me. I never got used to that! So he's been fed faithfully at 4am every morning! I had to let him go to heaven with the recommendation from the vet this February. I still cry thinking about him. He had gastrointestinal cancer with some other problems. I can't continue now because I'm crying again.... :(
