Arrival Story:
Mia was born on my back porch and hidden by her mom, a feral beauty, under my AC. She was constantly battling a big mama raccoon, who wanted those babies and was relentless in trying to get them. Bob, my big beautiful boy, spent all his time--and lots of my money via vet bills--fighting off the coon. Mia lost two of her siblings to the coon when they were babies, and two more of her sibs to coyotes when they were about a year old. But her mom and one sib are still living wild at my apartment complex.

Bio:
Mia's story has a very happy endiing. She has a new permanent home with one of my workmates, and loves her black-on-white adoptive brother (see photos).
