Kitcat's Chronicle

It's all in the timing ...

Since it looks like the dog is here to stay we (Squirrel and I) decided it was time to teach her a lesson. I picked the perfect moment. Kelly was in a calm mood. I got on the first shelf of my cat tree and I started glaring at her menacingly. I was all puffed up. She didn't notice that because she was busy playing so I started growling and yowling at her. That she noticed so she came over reared up and put her front paws on my cat tree shelf. I swatted her so hard and so fast she didn't know what hit her big nose. She went flying across the room. Then I walked over to her mat and lay down beside all her toys. She didn't dare do anything about it. Then to add insult to injury Squirrel came over and joined me. Kelly stayed behind mom and hid from us. She didn't bother us again.

This is Mom. All true except for how hard Kitcat hit her. And no claws.

It's important to teach those dogs who's boss when they're small!
