Thank you so much!!!! Mom has been very sick since Saturday. Even too sick to go on the computer. Can't keep anything down. Can't sleep.
Finally, she went to the human vet. She has a serious sinus infection and a bladder infection.
She took her first antibiotic pill, and the effects can be vomiting and diarrhoea. She sure doesn't need that because she hasn't eaten in days and hasn't had much liquids.
So she takes her first pill, and ends up with both side effects.
She will try one more before asking for a different one.
Good news is she is home with us and we are good nurses. Bad news is she hardly feels like playing. And she barely has the energy to feed poor Lobo.
We are hoping the pills stay down, work soon, and she can get back her strength. Oh, and she cannot sleep a wink!
This will make her feel a little better. Me being the Cat of the Week!
Concats to you, Kitcat, and big POTP fur your Mom to get better SOON!
Thank you WeBeeseSiamese!
She only barfed once today so far, had an almost hour nap in the afternoon and just slept 3 hours, in one hour blocks (of course I was with her). She would have had to get up now to take her pill anyhow. So, she thought she would get up and move around to clear her sinuses, drink lots fluids and try to go back to sleep in a few hours. Seems to be getting slowly better.
Thank you Jezebel!!!

Mom finally got some sleep. She has a bad cough now, but no pukes since yesterday morning. She is eating very lightly.
Our Mom lost weight too, but she likes that part about because she can afford to.
The pills should make her recovery accelerate in a few days.
I stayed with her the whole time except one night. I needed some rest and could not sleep with all her tossing and turning and coughing. So, I just skipped one night to take care of my own tiredness.
