We had a repairman come to the house today. Oh my. Squirrel and I were not impressed. He was there to fix our satellite dish so Mom can watch her TV without the signal dropping out. Well, right away I was growling even before he rang the doorbell. When he came in, he smelled like cigarette smoke which triggered Mom's asthma and made me not like him even more. And, he used my bathroom! Only me and Mom are allowed in there. Well Squirrel can go in there too if she wants. The man went in there and it now smells like cigarette smoke. Ew. He wasn't here long but I growled the whole time. Even as he drove away I watched him from our picture window and growled. Squirrel & I are just starting to settle down now. Mom told us to get used to it as we will have a natural gas man coming here on March 20th.
Maybe Cali can give you lessons....She'a a master at growling...& hissing...& giving the Smacky Paw...
You tell him, Kitcat!
Ewwwwwwwwww, cig-ret smoke is gross. OK, so I have not never smelled it, but mama sez it is gross, and daddy does not like it neether. It has terbl bad stuff in it, and mama and daddy say it is not good for kitties or pups or peeples.
Now bout the growlerin; you got plenty of time to practis for the natural gas man. ;) Grrrrrrrrrrrr, grrrrrrrrrr...
Oh yucky yuck old nasty stickies. OPEN THE WINDOW AND SHUT THE DOOR. Poor guys.
you go girl. Way to go, you tell them.
GRRR! GROOOWWWWLLLLL! Yeah! You go and growl all you want at stinky workers who dare to enter the confines of your den...HISSES, too...MOL!
Years ago, our Toki, who loved just about evfurryone, got spooked and all fluffed up and he growled furry loudly...much to the chagrin and embarrassment of meowmy...a poor lady came to our door to pick up some boxes of things because her house had burned down, and she still smelled like the smoke from that disaster...and Toki was frightened of that smell, even though he had nevfur known smoke in his life.
Yikes, you're my second furriend to have the same problem this week. Yuck!
I hate strange people coming in. But I usually just hide.
We were hiding too when he was in the house. But when he was outside I was slinking around and growling so loud Mom could hear me from across the house! And we were both puffed up. And, he must have kitties too because he was admiring our cat tree and saying how his cats would love something like that. Must have been the cigarette smoke smell that really made me suspicious and a bit frightened of him.
