We have not been out in our outdoor cat run in a long while. During that time, it snowed, melted, froze, snowed, rained, froze, etc. It was quite cold today but Mom let Squirrel and I go out and check out our cat run for the first time this year. Squirrel stayed out for ten seconds. I was out for a minute! I was very surprised to see that I could walk ON the snow and not sink in! There was an icy, frozen layer on top of the deep snow. It was fun! But real cold on the toes, so I went back in the house pretty quick. Mom laughed at our fluffed up fur.
Wow you are so brave. Mom opens the door and I feel the cold come in and run the other way.
Squirrel is no fool. Try to keep your toes warm!
WOW you can walk on snow, that is amazing...maybe your Mom needs to find some kitty mittens for your paws!
Isn't the snow pawful? You're furry brave to be out there fur a whole minute!
The ice/snow was cold on my toes so when I got back in the house I had to run around like crazy to warm up and then settle on Mom's lap. It is actually warmer when you do sink into the snow instead of walking on a crusty layer of ice.
I don't think me or Minko would evfur want to go exploring in or on the snow!
We leave that fur the snow leopards! MOL!
Glad that you kitties seem to enjoy the fresh air and the great outdoors!
I have no interest in going out in that snow stuff - it seems cold! The dogs seem to tolerate it ok - at least for a while! I'll just take a warm spot inside though.
We'll never get to test it here--we're apartment cats. Mom thinks I'd be a good candidate with my long coat, but Marrakech would freeze her patooties off!
