Business As Usual

Yea! I have my buddy back. Carmella is back to her sassy self and giving me a challenge. I thought I was getting the upper hand but not anymore. I'm glad things are back to normal. It's no fun playing tag by yourself. Mom has been working really hard on my profile. I like it. It suits me. Jump around!

What's wrong with my Pal?

I went with Carmella to the Vets last Friday. I don't know why she hates it so. I got lots of attention. A nice man poked at me as I purred happily. He put a cold round thing on my chest. I suppose he was trying to hear me purr so I purred louder. He pinched my butt and I went back in my crate. Carmella took a little longer she didn't look too happy. After we got home I tried to play tag with her but she wasn't playing back. She just ran... so I chased her. What fun! Mom was getting mad and I couldn't figure out why. I'm finally getting the upper hand and getting scolded for it. That's not fair! All I want to do is play. I just don't understand. I hope Carmella will play tag with me soon, I miss her.

What is that bubble in the window?

Mom was very busy today. She was making noise and moving things around. She took the curtains down in the kitchen and there was a bubble of some sort in the window. I had never seen this before. What was it and is this where Carmella goes when I can't find her? Mom made some more noise and then there was two, side by side in our kitchen windows. I still didn't understand what is was until Mom took a few of my toys and plopped me inside. WOW! Was I outside? Was I inside? I can't tell. I saw a cup with peanuts tied to the window. I tried to get them but I guess they were not for me. A few minutes later the hugest grey monster came and stole a peanut! I was nervous and curious all at the same time. He kept coming back, stealing one at a time. What fun! He is so close to me. I reach out but can't quite reach him. I realize I'm safe and he can't reach me either. I have a new favorite hang out my Feline Solarium.

Since I've come to my new home I have been working on Carmella. I've been as cute as I ever could be and it is working. She watches me constantly and even participates in a game of tag. I love to play with her tail as she sits on the kitchen chair. I'm wearing her down a little at a time. I knew I could.

My Whirl Wind Life Story

Life has been very scary and uncertain until yesterday. I was born and lived outside with my Cat Mother. When I was about 4 weeks old, my sister and I were separated from our Cat Mother and brought to a shelter. I don't know what happened to my Cat Mom, I was too little to remember. My sister left me right away. I don't really understand where she went and what happened to her. A big pair of hands just carried her away. There I sat growing bigger and no home. I wasn't as small and as cute as the other kittens in my cage anymore. Kittens came and kittens went. A month went by when a lady came and held me. I must make her want me. I purred and purred while she looked at other kittens. I have to be charming so she will take me home. I was put in a crate and taken for a ride. What now??? A door opened and it was a forever home complete with a feline friend. I've been busy trying to get to know my new surroundings. I'm also trying to charm Carmella but she's playing hard to get. I will win, my name is Romeo.
