Coloration: Blue Tabby
Likes: Paine loves to have company, she hates being left alone. She also really likes to see what's behind closed doors; be they rooms, closets, or kicthen cabinets.
Pet-Peeves: My boyfriend's sister's dog Jo who doesn't know when *not* to play.
Favorite Toy: Hard to say, she really loves any toy, but she often carts around a small teddy bear she stole from Jo's old toy basket.
Favorite Nap Spot: Anywhere near/on me if I'm home, but she'll usually sleep in her kitty bed, otherwise.
Favorite Food: VIP Pet Steak! She will start begging for it loudly as soon as she sees you take it out of the fridge!
Skills: Jumping up (or climbing you) to perch/lounge on shoulders. Talking. Melting my heart. Being a punk. Sticking her nose into everything I'm eating.
Dwells:
indoors
Arrival Story: I adopted this cute little kitty from my local veterinary office on 30-5-09 at 12 weeks & 10 days old. I had decided upon a kitten I found on the internet from an animal shelter, but when I called to meet the kitten, she had already been adopted. Disappointed I continued my search online with no luck, but then remember the vet down the road sometimes had kittens for adoption. I asked to see their females and were introduced to two of their kittens. The younger one was a blue/gray & cream/white tabby who was batting a ball around her glass enclosure when I went to hold her. Her precious green eyes looked up at me when I held her and my heart melted. The white that underlined her eyes was so gorgeous! After holding her for a while they had me hold their other female kitten. She was a bit older, they called her a tortie but she looked more like a calico to me. She was fast a sleep in her bed and her golden eyes looked up at me in annoyance as I held her. She growled and let out a hiss.
I ended up adopting the tabby and my boyfriend named her Paine, which is a character in a Final Fantasy video game.
Bio: Paine was saved from a house with too many cats. Her kitty mummy had had three litters in a row, so she and her babies were confiscated, desexed and put up for better homes.
Lives Remaining: 8 of 9

I've Been On Catster Since:
So Mummy and I spent the morning uploading lots and lots of pictures of me! So you have lots to look through and see! We tried to order them newest to oldest =^..^=
Mummy also took me to see Grandma the other day! And I forgot to tell you! When I first got there Grandma's puppy named Teddy was too happy to see me so I was very scared. But after a few hours and a couple "time-outs" for Teddy we were playing! I've never played with a puppy before! I loved it! We would take turns chasing each other around the lounge and had lots of fun! The doggy I live with doesn't play with me like that...she's old and hunts me and I get scared and hiss a lot! Mummy says I can play with Teddy whenever I want! She and Daddy like to see me having fun with other animals.

ps - please keep your paws crossed from my good friend Scarlet (1002455) from the Calico Junction - she is switching medicine cause she wasn't eating on her other.
Meow-Wow! I'm Cat of the Day?! That's pawsome! Maybe -that's- why Mummy cleaned out my ears, brushed my teeth and clipped my nails last night...
Anyways, I want to thank everyone for their treats!
Tate and Tonka, The family of Nigel, Rex, Luke and Tully, The family of Rune and Sigil, Amelia, Casey, Grace, Leo, Frankie, Karma, Charlie, Punkin, Bobbi & Shelly for their wonderful gifts and kind words.
Buddie and The family of Callie Rose for their purrs.
And a very special thank you goes out to Lola - She really is an angel up there at the bridge!! She gave Mummy and I "CasterPlus"! Lola will always be my beautiful, good girl furiend. Her Kong-Fu moves won her the Video Contest! She's one amazing cat! Maybe I'll grow up to be a good girl, too... =^..^=
So yesterday Mummy and I were playing all morning. She then got on the computer and I found something! I found this packet thing and I brought it to her and killed and ate it! I thought Mummy would be so proud of me but when she finally looked to see what I was eating she got all wide eyed and picked me up and ran for her phone. I managed to get away from her and hide under the bed as she spoke frantically to someone I couldn't see. She then lured me out from under the bed and shoved me in my basket before flying out the door and speeding off to the vets! What did I do? Someone greeted her outside in the parking lot and took me from her - Mummy also handed them the white packet I had killed for her. What was going on? I was taken into the back without Mummy and my Dr was there. She called someone on the phone and did some experiments with the stuff I had eaten before she gave me back to Mummy who was still shaking and looked like she was going to cry. I heard the Dr tell Mummy that the silica gel should dissolve in my tummy and I might throw up a few times, but considering how fast Mummy acted I shouldn't have eaten enough to hurt me. The Dr said if I have problems pooing I need to be seen again. The nurses made Mummy sit down and drink some water before they let her drive me home. They tried to pet me through my carrier and said things to make Mummy laugh....But Mummy, I killed it! Doesn't that make a good kitten?
