Arrival Story:
Martin was brought to the shelter where I volunteer 2 days before Christmas. The person who had had him since kittenhood recently had someone new move in, and Martin was peeing outside the litterbox. Instead of taking him to the vet or identifying the stressor, they dumped him. Martin was with us 7 months - a ten-year-old black declawed kitty isn't the most popular - then he started peeing outside his box again. Staff knew I loved him, so they warned me he would be recommended for euthanasia. Thanks to the help and generosity of some really great people, I was able to bring Martin home.
