Arrival Story:
Daisey and Loki were 2 of three cats abandoned in an apartment. They were all loaded with fleas and Daisey had scratched the skin off around her neck due to a flea allergy. It took two months of cortisone shots to get her back to normal. Daisey has been spayed, tested for aides/leukemia, treated for fleas and tapeworms and is up to date on her vaccinations.

Daisey is slow to warm up to other cats, but she will get there when she is ready. She loves to chase toys and run thru tunnels. She loves to be pet and played with, but doesn't like being held for very long or being restrained. She will try to get away, but she doesn't bite. Her and Loki have become very close friends and they show a lot of affection for each other.

I have learned how to get my human companions to play with me. It's very simple. I have two toys that are easy to carry around in my mouth and when I drop them at my human's feet, they have learned that I will play fetch. As long as I keep bringing them back, they will throw them for me to chase. When I get tired I just lay down and close my eyes and they know I'm done.
