Skills: She can sleep in one spot for 8 hours straight! She can be so docile and calm, but when she and BlueBelle start play fighting...........wow!............she comes alive! And because she's so big it's neat to see! She can kick bum with the best of them!

Arrival Story: Well, about 2 months before we got ButterCup I saw a beautiful cream ginger and white kitten in the window of a petshop. I was so tempted to buy him, but held back. Then one day I suddenly got the urge to check out what the local cat rescue had available. They told me that a family had to find a new home for their cat because a family member that moved in with them was severely allergic to cats. The minute I saw her I couldn't believe my eyes. She was just like that kitten I saw in the window! She very well may be because her age coincides with the age the kittens looked in the window. Who knows.............anyway, I had ButterCup in my car and ready to go home within 2 hours of making the phone call to the cat rescue organization! And we lived happily ever after! :)
Bio: Buttercup is a very docile and calm kitty. She is very elegant and knows she is beautiful. She often keeps busy with grooming and posing. She is very much like my cat Cookie that is no longer with us...........maybe that's one reason why I love her so much. She just lays around and looks beautiful most of the day. Sometimes just flopped down in all her glory like a queen on her thrown, with eyes half closed,purrrrring, and making kitty happy sounds. She and BlueBelle follow me around from room to room when I am home. And she is great with my kids! They love her to pieces too! Every night she and BlueBelle sleep at the end of my son's bed. And both she and BlueBelle insist on drinking freshly drawn water from the bidet on demand!
