"Kee-Kat", "Mew-Mew", "Furball", "Puddycat"

Kitty Complexion:
sleepyvery active
not curiousvery curious
not vocalvery vocal

Sun Sign:
October 13th 2003

She loves following me around, sneaking down into the basement, running around the house at high speeds, curling up on my lap, and cat-napping.

She doesn't like it when our daughter comes to visit and helps me by holding her still so that Miss Kitty can have her nails clipped. She also doesn't appreciate closed doors which keep her out of rooms she wishes to enter!

Favorite Toy:
She loves batting around her little catnip bag.

Favorite Nap Spot:
When he isn't sitting in it, she will claim my husband's big comfy chair.

Favorite Food:
She enjoys her Purina One cat food.

She can open dresser drawers all by herself and loves to "help" make beds!

Arrival Story:
Miss Kitty originally belonged to my son's fiancee. When they got married and their new apartment wasn't the best place for her, they asked if I would like to be her new mama. I talked my husband into it, although at the time he was not fond of cats to say the least! After traveling from her kitten home state of NC northward to WV and moving in with us, she quickly claimed my husband's chair as her daytime sleeping spot if he wasn't in it first. She won him over and he has grown to love her almost as much as I do!

Miss Kitty, with her beautiful tortoiseshell coloring and sweet personality, keeps me entertained on a daily basis with her crazy antics. I have posted one photo of her taken after she opened a dresser drawer and climbed in. She loves to climb up on the back of my computer desk chair and also loves to nap inside of cardboard boxes. Whenever she hears me changing bed sheets, she comes running so that she can burrow under the sheets and roll and play while I'm trying to make up the beds. One of our sons is a professional illustrator and for a birthday present, he sent me a page of illustrations he did of Miss Kitty. They are posted here on Miss Kitty's Catster page for you to see. Update: Our newly married daughter has always enjoyed playing with Miss Kitty and just recently she and her husband adopted a female tabby through the adoption program at PetSmart. Their "Henna" weighs 18 pounds! I am very happy for them as my daughter loves cats, too!
