I just went to the vet the other day and they said I have hyperthyroidism. Mommy doesn't know if she can afford the meds and all the blood work i have to get done every 3 weeks until it's at a controlled level but she is going to try as long as she can.

I hope things go better.I am struggling with Harley and decided the meds did more harm to him than helped so I am letting him be comfortable at home.He also is frail and actually lost more weight on the thyroid medication.He is now down to 6 lbs which looks terriable because he is a very long cat.But as thin as he is he still gets up and checks on things from room to room than goes back to lay on his heating pad in the bathroom.So I am now feeding him fresh salmon from a blender,tuna and pretty much what ever I can to try to get his weight up.
