Arrival Story:
My Mommy is Dipsey (Dixie). I have grown to be a stinker. I love to beat my Mommy up. She lets me do it until I get rough then she puts me in my place. We have our own home and Mommy makes sure I'm clean each night. Male Human makes a big fuss over us each night. I love to be brushed. I love to scratch him when I thank him for brushing me. I became Male Humans right hand man and would go where ever he would. We spent many hours together working and repairing things at the Junction. I was his supervisor and a good one too. My favorite time of year was winter. I learned to love snow. My first trip in it was a bit scary but then I found it was another spectrum to my playground. I was such a little guy and Girl Human would feed me every two hours around the clock when I was so very small. She taught me how to drink milk from a dish and how to eat canned food. She fed me baby foods when I was very small to build me up. When it was time for my mommy to have her surgery, I spent my first night alone. When it was my turn to go for my surgery my Mommy went with me to keep me company until it was time. My Mommy, Dipsey had a hard beginning and was pregnant and hurt when she arrived at the Junction. I had 5 brothers and sisters. One was black like me and died at one week of age. I was never chosen for adoption and so I became a resident of the Junction. My Mommy is alone since I left for the Bridge at 9:30 a.m. Monday March 25, 2013. I had, had trouble with massive blood clots in my bladder. Extensive testing and an operation to remove what was thought to be kidney stones and then found to be blood clots in Nov. 2012. March 18th was my 5th birthday and it was such a fun day. The Humans hugged and kissed me. They sang Happy Birthday to me, not the best of singers. It was the thought that counted. I played with my new toys, had some catnip and enjoyed my day. Sat. night the 23rd I did not want to eat much. The Humans let my mommy stay overnight in another house to see if I was going potty and drinking water. I was not. My Dr. is so nice and tries so hard to help us every why. Girl Human stayed with me all night sleeping on a lawn chair with her head next to mine. I slept in a nice bed she made in the bottom of a carrier. She dripped water in my mouth ever few hours and gave me pain medication and turned me over every few hours so I would not get sore. At 4:30 she had to get some sleep. The Dr. called at 8:00. Decker loved snow. On Sunday afternoon the snow started to fall. When Girl Human took me to the Vet it was beautiful. She stopped to let me see the beauty. I lifted my head and was so happy to see it snowing. Decker left us this Monday morning and the snow is still falling ever so lightly and gently. What a perfect day to travel to the Bridge. Now, I will be with my Kitty Karma. We will spend our days by the Koi pond and play in the fields together forever. Thank You wonderful Catsters for being my friend. I will be waiting for you to call on me when you need me. I'm waiting here for you. Until we meet again.

Today my Angel friend Dexter and I were chosen DDP. What a nice surprise for the both of us. We both only arrived last weekend to the Bridge. I really give my DDP to all my Junction kitties an Humans, I had to leave. Thank you for the honor.

Not good news

News is not good today___ Decker who has just celebrated his 5th Birthday is having the same issues as he had in November. The surgery has done nothing to improve his urinary/badder/kidney problems. We are at square one. We believe we will have another Angel going to the bridge to soon in his life. We thought that he was doing so well. In a matter of 24 hours he has gotten much worse. Prays and crossed paws are needed.

I do want to thank everyone for all their wonderful gifts, messages and cards for our sweet Decker's 5th Birthday. Sorry we have not gotten around to giving our thank you's from the Junction. We have been having a lot of things happening with Grandma Human and have not had time to give our gratitude to each and every one of you. Please bare with us until we do.
