Arrival Story:
I've had a cat all my life. But when I went away to college, I worried that the heat would be too much for my 15-year-old cat, so she stayed at my parents' house. My roommate moved out and it's been just me, so a friend decided to take me to petco and buy me a kitten. When we got there, two kittens caught our eyes. They were siblings Binx and Arthur, or Binky and Boogie as the adoption agency called them. Unfortunately, less than a week after we adopted them, Arthur died of a birth defect. He is still sorely missed, but his neurotic sister has helped me through his passing greatly.

Bio:
When we got Binx from the adoption agency, they had named her Binky. My friend decided she didn't want to rename her, so she stayed Binky, but not for long. As I was calling her around my house, I had a flashback to the movie Hocus Pocus, for which I named my first cat Emily. I started calling her Thackery Binx, and before I knew it, it was her name.

The Evil Gray Cat!

Mom told us a few days ago that we were going to visit Auntie. I got excited, because Auntie likes to tell me how wonderful I am, even though she doesn't like how long my fur is. On every other Auntie visit, we got to run around Gramma and Grampa's house. I love that house, cause it's so big. But Mom told me that this visit would be different. Auntie got a new house, and the rules are a little changed. It wasn't until we got there that I found out why.
Auntie got a new kitten. It's evil. I try to play with it and it curls up and hisses at me! It likes Auntie's big meanie, but not a friendly kitten like me? Mom tells me she's jealous, she wishes she had a luxurious coat like mine. But Auntie likes the little creature!
I wouldn't mind, but because the new kitty doesn't like me, Mom has to separate us. Mieke, Julius, and I have our own place (Mom calls it the Sweet Kitty Suite), and Tigger and Pooh Bear (Or Piglet, Auntie hasn't decided) have their own. Mom comes and visits us a lot, but she feels bad that she has to confine us. I keep trying to sneak past her to see what I'm missing out on, but Mom keeps catching me. When she does, she cuddles me and apologizes, but I'm still mad that I can't run around.
I'm used to being pampered, Mom gives me free run at home. She worries that I won't forgive her, and promises that it will only be for two more days. I can still smell that evil kitten, and I hope Mom doesn't think she can come to my house!
I think she is going to though, because Mom tells me to get used to her smell. She says that the kitten is Auntie's and won't be with us for long, but that I need to be nice to her because her tummy hurts. She tells me that of all her kitties, I should understand because I had the surgery that the evil kitten had before Mom even got me when I was three months old. But I don't even remember, so I think Mom is just trying to get me to accept the evil kitten. Even though she's evil.
Wish me luck, Mom says that in a week I won't even remember the evil kitten. I don't believe her yet, but I want to.
