I'm sorta the "go to" person when it comes to cats, and when my sis-in-law's sis was getting divorced, the husband threatened to choke the cat in front of her and her sons. She called me hysterical and begged me to take her. How could I say no? I hadn't even seen the cat, but I took her, and am thrilled I did - she's SO low maintenance!!
