Arrival Story:
My girlfriend and I were out playing tennis on the neighborhood courts as we usually do each night. It just so happened that tonight there was a strained meow coming from a bush next to the court where I was returning serve. Concerned, I stopped play and walked over to the bush, but the meow stopped. Eventually my girlfriend and I working together were able to get him to keep meowing while I searched the bush, and he was eventually spotted! Just 3-4 or weeks old, Rafa was beat up, dirty, cut, scratched...and crying for help! We took him back home, gave him a bath, fed him, and gave him water. In the morning he visited the vet for the first time, and now he is a fully-recovered healthy young kitten!
We named him Rafael after the current #1 tennis player in the world, Rafael (Rafa) Nadal.
