Arrival Story:
He was abandoned at an animal shelter by a cat collector whom decided they didn't want him anymore. I adopted him in 2004 when he was six years-old... He was put under a 'special needs' clasification (which is not something you want on your sheet if you are a cat in the adoption cages) due to the fact that he was both declawed and had known litterbox issues... His litterbox issue was the fact that his previous owner had EIGHT cats whom were all using common boxes.

Bio:
Pugsley is by far the most affectionate animal I have ever known. Everybody adores him, even dog owners love him. He has never once hissed or even had his tail puff up. He is so affectionate, I almost brought him back to the shelter as he would not let me sleep, would not ever get off my lap and basically was overbearing... And I'm the kind of person who LIKES affectionate cats. I thought about bringing him back but he grew on me very quickly. He was clearly miserable the first six years of his life. To the point where he wasn't even maintaining what turned out to be his natural weight. When I adopted him, he weighed 13 lbs. 9 oz. he weighs 20 lbs today and has been very near that weight ever since I adopted him. He is funny, has tons of personality. I wouldn't call him stupid but he is definitley a klutz and a goof. He truly is much more than just a pet. He is a member of our family. We love him to pieces.

Pugs 411:
Why Pugsley only has 8 lives remaining: Had to give him a bath one day and lets just say... He didn't enjoy it all that much! -- He got away from me while soaked to the bone and when I went to grab him... Be backed his, dripping wet ass, right into an electrical outlet that THANK GOD was GFI protected! It tripped the GFI switch so Pugsley didn't get so much as a tiny zap. A cat I owned 20 years prior (Brown Kow) who chewed through an electrical cord and it blew a hole right through the roof of his mouth into his nasal cavity... If not for the GFI switch, Pugsley would have looked like the cat from the movie National Lampoon, Christmas Vacation.
