Things have been busy here decorating for the holidays. Fall is still here and the leaves are finally off the trees. Today used the leave blower and then an hour later a big gust of wind arrived to bring more from the woods. Male Human took the riding mower and chopped up what he could so they don't return again.
The neighbors all around have lights galore. We only have a few on the new POOH BEAR House. Then rest of the work was done inside. We did not put up a big tree this year but it seemed that every nook and cranny was dirty. The place had to be de-haired top to bottom. I know we had 2 extra cats laying about that we did not know we had.
Peaches has been holding his own this weekend. We went without medication the last few days and he has rested better and seemed to have less rattling in his breathing. He goes to see the Vet tomorrow. I don't know if all this medication is really doing anything.
I know the stress he has had while giving it to him has not been good. I thought I was going to loose him last week. He was so stressed and started breathing through his mouth and his eyes were dilated to the max. With getting the brush and brushing his head it calmed him and he was on the floor exhausted while I brushed him. He relaxed then started to purr. It made me feel better to hear him.
That's when I decided to not give him anything and see how he did. He's seemed much better. He has been sneezing in and out as if trying to get something out. I keep hoping he will surprise me with so odd thing dislodging from his nose.
We had a very generous donor give a $100. to use for his comfort today. That was such a wonderful surprise. I want to repeat a thank you to all of you who have been so kind with your contributions for his testing and care. Everyone has been so fantastic. Nudges and sandpaper kisses to all. .
P.S. I will try to get the Thank You's to all soon for all those gifts and kind words left on my and Peaches pages.
