Have we had another change????October 4th 2012 6:12 pm[ Leave A Comment | 4 people already have ] All of the sudden, I'm NOT receiving notice on my e-mail account. I ck'ed my settings. A post said they could not let me receive messages for ALL my cats. If anyone has left a comment, a gift or asking to be my friend, I no longer know this without checking each page. This is very so frustrating. Having a forever home for lots of kitties makes it hard to ck every page every day.. I really do like seeing the comments kitties make thru my E-mail. For several weeks there has been no activity on my e-mail account from Catster. An e-mail notice from them would have been nice. It seems with every change that happens here members are left in the dark until it happens. I see I have already missed 2 weeks of activity except what comes thru my pawmail. So sorry everyone.

We seem to not be having that issue, must be a truly notorious flea...nevfur heard of a limit on the number of kitties one could get notifications on...someone isn't doing their job?? We last received any email from Catster on Sept. 19. Even though HQ said our account was fine and our emails were not being bounced by our email provider, that seems to have been the problem. We were using a Gmail address for Catster. Mom got an address with another email provider today, then changed our email address on Catster. We started getting messages again right away. That's the second time that happened with our Catster email messages. Mom has had to sign up with a new email provider just for Catster TWICE now. I don't know if that's related to what happened to your email or not. I remember several years ago I had a problem with my e-mail notices from Catster. For the next 18 months, I kept receiving mail little by little. Just out of the blue something would show up from last year or longer. The thing was, I never had any other site I was on have this problem. I guess I just don't grasp the reasoning as to why it would only occur twice in 3 years from the same site.. The last time one of my Catster friends lost her cat and e-mailed me. I found out several days later from someone else. Her torn heart-ed message appeared 5 months later. She left had left Catster discouraged. It made me feel so bad. She probably thought I was cal-use and uncaring to her grief. Concerned. |
