Sophia is dealing with her new lifestyle quit well. She managed to get back into her normal schedule with modifications. Her biggest accomplishment before breakfast yesterday was to yacked a super big hairball. Yes, that's our girl.
She is not a pill taker and we were lucky that her pill has been working fine. She takes one in the morning after she eats for her heart.
We have not gone into more extensive testing to find out what the other issue is with her gallbladder. We had a full panel blood work done and she passed with flying colors. The only thing I was told that what they saw was, not cancer.
We are hoping to have time to recuperate on the finances. We have been hit real hard with Vet bills the last two months. Between Sweeny, Meshia, Blue and now Sophia, the credit card is on fire. Since Girl Human is not working it has been tight. but she is enjoying her summer off.
One thing we have found is the change of food we have made last year. It really has made a difference in the quality of our guys. Sweeny's diabetes is very stable. All the guys have gotten their shape back and are much more active and beg to play nightly.
The toys are all over the floor each morning and they seem to be more attentive. I only wish we could do it for all the others but it is not cheap but, worth it. Girl Human is hoping to get some dollars coming in by September.
Our new food has no Soy, Corn, or Wheat. With all the genetic treatment issues involving our food sources, we decided to give it a try. There seems to be many issues related to those ingredients that heavily affect our pets. I'm sure seeing the difference.
The biggest issue with this food is, it is changing my lazy guys into the little devils they are meant to be.
Hope you guys have a wonderful weekend. We had a nice hour long rain last night and our temperatures dropped into a welcomed mid 50's. Slept with the windows open. What a wonderful nights rest. Today it is warming up again.
