Arrival Story:
I had lost one of my two 18 yr old part siamese cats 2 months earlier, (Betsy), and had another at home who could go at any time. A friend asked me to go to the Humane Society with her because she wanted another cat. I didn't want to bring in another cat or kitten in my home for fear of upsetting my "KitKat" who didn't get off my bed any more except to eat and potty. They were so full that cages were out in the lobby and halls. In one of the hallway cages was a litter of kittens that were all sleeping, except this one. Every time I bent down she would run to me and want to play. The lady who fostered the litter happened to be there and told me that this one was her favorite. (Of course she was.) She told me that this one was always playing, and was very curious. She would cry every time I tried to walk away from her. This should have given me a hint as to how much of a "talker" she was gonna be when she grew up, but it didn't. She can wake the dead with her scream, and will not shut up until she gets what she wants. My friend who kept on with the "Oh go on, take her", now calls her "the little screaming black a** banshee". :) LOL
Bio:
Three weeks after getting Kallie I lost KitKat. It was really tough but having this little kitten who still needed and loved me helped me with the pain. Kallie is my baby now, she meets me at the door and tells me all about her day. She sleeps with me every night and is always there for me. She can be quite the demanding little kittie, but that's OK, I love her with all my heart and would be so lost without her.

Hi Furiends,
Thank you Tigger, Luke, Monida, Meep, Dexter & Stripey for your Power of the Paw rosettes&purrs. It worked cause I came home from the hospital Fri evening. The feeding tube did just what they wanted it to do, made me start to eat some. I'm eating Fancy Feast, mostly licking the juice, none of that dry hard stuff tho. I'm on heart meds forever and an appetite enhancer for a week. Now we're all purring I don't stop eating after the meds are gone.
Mom is so happy she can't stand it, and Joey keeps following me around to sniff on me and clean my head. What did they do to me that made my head so dirty?
I'm really skinny now. Maybe I could get a job as a super model? Travel the world, nahh. Think I'll just go lay on Moms bed and take a nap. Being sick really makes you tired.
Send some purrs and prayers to Dexter&Stripey furiends. They're both not feeling so well and could use them.
Thank you all again for your love&purrs, it meant a lot to Mom and us.

Hiya furiends,
Well Joey got his stitches out 2 days ago. He had a really hard time with this surgery. The second was much easier for some reason. But he felt bad most of the time with this 1. And to top it off, he now has an allergy to something and is losing his hair above the base of his tail. The vet said he doesn't have fleas so that's not it. He's on prednisone? now for the next 10 days. Oh, he also has lost 3 lbs.
I'm so glad Mom and he are back in the bedroom and not sleeping on the floor in the spare room anymore. Mom let me stay in there with them a couple of nites but I didn't like it in that other room. A princess such as I deserves a bed.

1) sunny spots to lay in
2) birds and other things to watch out the windows
3) Fancy Feast and other good things to eat
4) when Mom scoops my box
