Arrival Story:
Pippi came into the shelter where I worked in the winter of 2003 and celebrated her first Christmas only being about 8 months old, there. She was very icky being in and out of the islation room. Pippi spent a year at the shelter being over looked since she had such a bad start to life. I was leaving the shelter and could not bear the idea of Pip sitting there any longer. My parents have "threathen" me about bringing home any more animals that I would be kicked out and the animals stay. I kept Pippi for about two months not telling my parents until I went home for Christmas break, instead of bringing in one cat carrier there were two!

Bio:
The vets think Pip had some type of trauma to her head/face since Pippi's sinus cavity is damaged. Pippi will live the rest of her days always looking like she has a cold. She wheezes when she breathes, flings snot everywhere, you know the typical fun stuff, but she's not sick. Pippi also has broken canines and other teeth missing, I can't imagine what she went though. She was welcomed with open arms to the family! She is very silly and very little! She loves to roll on her back to get belly rubs and cuddle with Tucker, I was actually hoping she would play with Tigger, instead Tigger is a little afraid of her since she makes a wheezing noise and Tigger thinks she's hissing at him. When Pippi was at the shelter I would bring her out in the dog room with me while I cleaned. She was crazy!! Pip would climb up the dog gates and jump from one divider (cement blocks to separte kennels) to another and just go nuts, I was a little concerened. I took her in to be spayed and now... now all she does is sit, not kidding! I knew animals usually settle down when they get fixed, but this is ridiculous!

I'm finally home!

Hi all out there in kitty land. I just wanted to share with you my offical "welcome to your home" greeting today. Ok so you read the bio and knew I have been kept at my moms place at school, on a few weekends I had stayed with my wonderful auntie but very sad my mom left and I was never able to met my grandparents. She said she had to wait until break, something about there would be no way I could be taken back, even though my grandma and pappa would never say that, I dont know what my mom was thinking. So after a long journey, we made it to the house where my mommy was acting very crazy!! She broke the news and they were like, um ok whatever! Awesome huh, we didn't get kicked out! Instead my grandma and pappa love me! Even my brother Milo, who I just met today welcomed me with lots of kisses and follows me everywhere, I can tell we are going to be great pals!! I am very happy here curled up by the fire with Tucker and Tigger. Even though I waited for over a year, it was worth it!! But most of all, I can't wait to finally celebrate Christmas and get lots of presents from KittyKlaus!!!
