Arrival Story: I found Mr. Grey and his 6 feral littermates (Blaze, Spot, Tiger, Pumpkin, Rosalie, and Harlequin) in a flowerpot in the back of my vegetable garden in July 2008. They were only about 3-4 weeks old so I took them inside and bottle-fed them until they were old enough to wean. Three of the kittens (Rosalie, Pumpkin and Tiger) found homes but Mister Grey ended up staying with me. Since I bottle-fed them the kittens all still think I am their mother!
Bio: Mister Grey was one of three runts in his litter, although he eventually caught up in growth with the other kittens.
Mister Grey was named after a character in a Stephen King book (Dreamcatcher) who was an alien. The type of alien with huge eyes is called a "Grey" and when he was a baby he had HUGE eyes and reminded me of an alien, so that's how he got the name.
Grey and his littermates may be related to my other cat Church who is a year older than them. When I caught Church (also as a feral kitten) I saw his mother but was unable to catch her. When I found Grey and the rest I also saw their' mother the next day and she looked very much like Church's mother... Since Church and the kittens look a lot alike I think it is very likely they have the same mother so they are probably Church's half-siblings.
