The Last Forum I Posted In: Fake Cats? Huh?
i was in the rainroom again. because i am BRAVEKITTEN. because i was following a bug. well, because kaya & i were following a bug...or at least kaya seemed to be following something, and i was following kaya's tail. kaya is my MentorCat. and then i saw the bug! and i was trying to catch the bug! because i AM the mighty bug-hunter!
the bug went up high! i hopped up on a stone thing to track the bug. it came down a little lower...now i gotcha...i coiled to spring...kaya said:
"bad idea, BIK"
but i was already coiled to spring. so i springed.
and felled. and landed in a deep pool of warm, wet water!!! how did water get so warm? it is not out in the sun! and now i am WETKITTEN!

human translation:
my roommate had drawn a bath and was waiting for it to cool. yes, she closed the bathroom door, but she did not wedge a book under it-which is the only way to keep kaya or churrah from opening any of the interior doors. i heard the door open, and caught the end of the bug chase-did NOT realize there was a bath in there, thought there HAD been a bath and that was why there was so much steam...and yep. wetkitten. there seemed to be no scalding-she pretty much levitated out of the bath...at this rate this cat is going to develop a complex about the bathroom...
today has not been a day to purr about. first, the momhuman left for hours and hours and hours. she did come backbut she brought a crewel spotted circle back with her...i know it is crewel, because it is attached to me, and it WILL NOT go away. i asked it nicely. then i threw myself on my back and tried to squish it. then i begged it, in my tiniest teeniest most pitiful kitten-meow to "purrlease, purrlease, go AWAY..." and it would NOT. it is still there. the worst thing about it is that it won't go away...but also what's pretty bad is it makes a noise whenever i run.so i have been tip tip tip toeing around now for hours...which just ain't right.
then...then...a little while ago? i was running around in a dark room where i've never really been...the rain room. i hear rain in there lots of times a day, so i'm afraid of it, but it was dark and quiet so i decided to check it out. i am BRAVE KITTEN!
so...anyway...i was jumping around and climbing around and being BRAVEKITTEN in the RAINROOM...and i fell! and i fell in a COLD WET HOLE!
so i climbed back out and ran to momhuman and complained...and she said "oh poor babycat..." but she was LAUGHING!
so now i am hiding between the couch cushions...i might just stay here forever...or until breakfast...
human here: do ALL kittens try to drown themselves in toilets? or just mine? OMG, i didn't even know she'd fallen in until she ran in here...upon investigating in the bathroom it became obvious-she dragged the hairbrush in with her. (btw: the toilet lid is now DOWN-nothing like shooting the horse after the barn has been stolen.)
human has been puzzling a bit over my appearance. she looks at the pictures she's taken of me, and laughs...i asks why with my eyes and she says: "cause you're funny-looking." okay.
the problem seems to be that i'm not always as black as i am at first glance. sometimes i has stripes. sometimes i looks sort of brown. sometimes i look like i have spots of dust all over me...this is usually after i has been playing really rough or halfway through grooming.
human momperson finally thinks she has it figured out. she blew into my furs, and saw a flash of almost-white. looked more carefully...and yep. the inner layer of my furs is silver, the outer layer is black. this does not mean i am a black & silver kitten...apparently it means i is a black smoke kitten. so does that mean i is a BSIK? how do you say that? BaSIK? BeSik? nonono, don't want to be a BeSIK. how about BaSIK...like, from basic black but i'm basic black smoke...speaking of smoke, human mom really really wants to. but today is sunday so she could not get her checks cashed. tomorrow she will get her checks cashed and get her cigarettes. she will also get cat food, cat nip, and cat toys. we have placed our orders.
