Feisty Wildcat!

I'm a wildcat, full of courage and bravery! My brother Charlie's always been described as "feisty" while everyone described me as "sweet" and a "lovebug!" Yes, I am those things! But I am feisty, too!

Here's the situation: Charlie loves the top of the fridge. He loves it so much that mommy ended up moving everything off the top of the fridge so Charlie can lay there (She had no choice, he kept knocking everything off the fridge, even when she tried to block his access to it! So she eventually just gave in and cleared off the fridge for him). He likes to jump up there and meow at mommy until she feeds him! MOL!

Charlie gets up there from the counter and then he jumps back down to the counter when he wants down. Anyways, because of my condition with nerve issues and weakness in my back legs, I'd never tried to jump to the top of the fridge. Now that my legs are getting stronger and stronger and my confidence is growing, I decided it was finally time to check out the top of the fridge.

Guess what? I LOVE it up there! And instead of using the counter to get down, I just jump the 5 1/2 feet from the top of the fridge to the tile floor. FEISTY! I think my fridge-jumping is going to give my mommy a heart attack. The first time she saw me do it, she ran to try and stop me but she was too late! Now she's busy trying to figure out ways to stop my daredevil wildcat ways, short of getting rid of the fridge!

Hey, I'm a kitten! Kittens are feisty!!!

MOL- good effort Leo, I'm totally impressed, but you need to take things a bit slower when your Mum's looking so you don't freak her out! Remember humans can only jump about 1 inch up or down and that's mostly when changing shoes.

Dang!! That's a big jump. Although I know it is probably a naughty thing to be doing, I think it PAWSOME!! I am so happy that your back legs are strong enough to get you up there all in one shot. Woo Hoo!!!

Leo, Mommies get scared about those kind of things. You should have seen my mommie the first few times I climbed up on top of the bathroom door! I love climbing up there and sitting and then I jump down from there. She's used to it now, but at first she was worried about whether I would hurt myself getting down!
We are glad to hear you are strong enough to get up on top of the fridge. That really is fantastic!!

That's an impressive leap for any cat!!! All the more impressive because of what you've been through.
I'm not even going to do the math about velocity and force transfer involved in such a *dismount* from the top of the fridge. (I'd sound like a Mommy, if I said any more)

Nevermind too the jealous chatter (and it's bound to come) that will meow... "He's 'roiding - that's what is causing his super-cat abilities."

Just smile to yourself and know - You're putting the "feist" back in "feisty"
