It's 2005!

Happy Valentine's Day, Everyone!

I am so sorry I am late in posting this, but I have been so very busy lately -- aggravating my father takes a lot of time and effort, you know.

HAPPY BELATED NEW YEAR TO ALL MY FRIENDS HERE AT CATSTER! I apologize for being so late in wishing all my human and feline friends here the very best for 2007....I've been rather self-absorbed, haven't I? I do promise to work on this trait this year and improve....:)

Did anyone get any Valentine treats yesterday? Of course, I am not allowed to have chocolate, but my mom gave me a little leftover baked halibut that she had in the fridge, and I must say that it wasn't half bad.

I saw mom trying to scrape most of the sauce from my (meagre) portion of fish and wondered if purrhaps I am packing on the pounds again? Purrsonally, I don't care how tubby I become, but mom likes to keep my weight under control. Don't I burn calories while I'm attacking dad after he teases me? Chasing Stanley must use up a lot of calories, too. Oh, well....*sigh* meoww...at least I do get treats once in a while....not often enough for my liking.....*pout*

I will try to be more vigilant in keeping this diary up to date. I know I say the same thing every year but I do promise make more entries.....

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL OUR PURRFECT MOMS!

I am writing this in advance, in case I am a little busy on Sunday. Stanley and I were already warned by my father more than once that he and I must be on our best behaviour this Mother's Day. I am trying to practice being a good kitty, but you wouldn't believe how hard it is for me.:(

All the spring flowers are in bloom and they are so tempting...I just want to bolt to Mom's flower beds and start digging, don't you know? I'm chomping at the bit to chomp on them. Still, I promised Daddy that I'd try to be a good girl.

Stanley and I want to take this opportunity to wish all the Purrfect Moms here on Catster a very happy Mother's Day. Please let your feline kids pamper you for the day instead of it being the other way around.

What would we ever do without our moms' love?

HAPPY EASTER/PASSOVER, EVERYBODY!

I would like to wish all my cat friends and acquaintances a very happy Easter and/or Passover, and I also extend my warm wishes to their wonderful human purrents!

I hope that the weather co-operates for you over the long weekend, and that you will have some tasty, special treats to devour.

Here where I live, the crocuses are up, and the dandelion and tulip leaves have sprung up. Things are starting to look green, slowly but surely.

It's going to be a beautiful spring day this Good Friday, so I will hang around by the back door later on and meow until my mother or father lets me outside. Neither one of them has to go to work today -- MEOWYA-HOO!

I am wondering what I can do to keep them on their toes?

And I also wonder how many of my mother's crocuses I can dig up before she notices what I'm doing....:)
