Why is my Burmese Blue silent?

I re homed a 3 yr old Burmese Blue along with her companion a 4 yr old Bengal Cross one week ago. I was told the Burmese was a very chatty cat but so far she has remained silent, unlike the Bengal Cross who occasionally meows. They both appear well settled, happy and enjoy playing games. They have also settled well with my other cat, a 16 year old domestic. I would appreciate any advice from anybody else who may have experienced this problem. I am worried that she may never speak again!

It has only been a week, dont rush them to be comfortable. Although they may look all settled in, they are probably not, one week is just a short time. Give him time I am sure he will come around
