why does my cat keeps attacking me ?

my cats about a year now and a couple of months ago he just started attackin me for no reason i give him plenty on attention i play with him all the tym and his been neutered so why is he doin this ? PLZ HELP!!! my arn is so badly scratched up i duno what to do
