When getting a kitten, would it be best to get TWO kittens, so they have each other to play with?

I want to get a kitten, but i am wondering if she'll be too lonely by herself. Should i get two kittens, or just make sure to give my kitten lots of attention?

Panda Bear

I would get two, preferably non-littermates of the opposite gender. My kitten is driving my older cats crazy (age 7 months) because she wants to play, and they want to sleep or be left alone. You will have double the vet bills, but they will be happier, better socialized and less destructive. Buy a cat condo, scratchers, toys, a litter pan/scoop, bowls, collars, a litter box and healthy kitten food like MaxKitten from NutroMax. Then you're ready to find the kitties... if they come from a rescue they'll already be spayed and neutered AND come with shots, which will end up being less expensive for you. Congrats on finding your future two new best friends!! ^_^

Sierra mist (misty)

I agree with everything panda bear said but i would get them from the same litter. No introduction hassle and you would make it so she wouldn't have to be separated from her brother/sister. :)
