What is the right cat??

Im seriously considering getting Simba a playmate, i am going back to school in september for thankfully my last semester of college. I really think simba will need a playmate since i wont be able to constantly play with him and wont be at home alot as i have been in the summer. Simba is a very confident almost arrogant kitten who is intimidated by larger males. He has a sister who we always visit and he walks on a leash and is fine with seeing other cats( if it is a large male he freaks). The thing is i prefer to get a male but simba's genetic line says he will be a small cat how do i pick the right male cat and make simba less intimidated for when the cat gets older and becomes bigger than him??

Why do you have to get a male when you know that he has a Napoleon complex? Why not a younger, spayed female? Females have less urinary issues and he will end up being her catdad. ^_^
