What cat breeds do Siamese cats get along with best?

I am a Siamese from a big family of cats....5 of us indoor cats! Siamese cats are a bit territorial, so I would recommend a laid back cat like a Ragdoll or an American Shorthair mix breed kitten who has a laid back attitude. Spend time with the kitten and don't get one that is too rowdy or too shy and scared. Siamese usually want to be head cat, but we will bully a wimp! Many great kittens are in rescues needing homes. Since Sassy is female I would suggest a male (have him fixed EARLY to avoid agression and marking ). I get along very well with my siblings, but there is ALWAYS going to be an adjustment period. Just show Sassy lots and lots of love as you introduce the new cat, so that she still feels like queen of the castle! Best of luck!

Siamese can be a bit territorial, high strung, and high energy. A laid back cat with an even temperment that likes to play might be a good match. A shy/timid cat or elderly cat might not appreciate living with a Siamese. Make sure to use gradual introduction - there is still going to be an adjustment period.
