what can i do if my cat has a cold and his nose is running

how do i treat him if he has caught a cold from me being sick with a cold

There are varied opinions on whether or not a cat can catch a cold from a human, but the general consensus is no,it can't. If your cat is sneezing very often, lethargic, not eating and just doesn't "look right" you must get him to the vet's as soon as possible. Upper Respiratory Infections can turn deadly very quickly. Do not "treat" him with ANY human medications. Those can be fatal to a cat.
