We just spayed our 8 month old in house female tabby cat. We want another cat.
Our choices:
A. There is a 1 year old stray male cat outside that we can have fixed before bringing him inside.
B. There is a 2 month old female cat in the shelter that will be spayed.
Is either a good choice ???

Can you afford both? You would be fine with both. We think bringing a cat in from the cold...your outside guy would be great. Just get him to the vet, get him neutered and tested and shots, and then introduce them gradually.
We all came in at various times, and do very well together for the most part.
