Don't look on Google for anything you expect to be breathing when you get it. Buy a magazine. I recommend Cat Fancy. There's about gazillion reputable breeders in the back. Still, buyer beware get references. And check out the Cattery. In person on a surprise visit. If you visit and talk to other breeders you'll soon get good and bad. Don't rush you'll have Kitty hopefully for 20yrs or more. Spend a couple weeks to make sure. Another hot spots for those pure breeds are cat shows. This will give you a good Idea about what they are supposed to look. And act like actually do that first thing. But please don't help people who would sell animals on Google

Catster is not a site that sells cats, but by asking, this person might be able to adopt a kitty that needs a good home. In my opinion, no harm in asking.

Catster is not a site for selling cats. Check the CFA (Cat Fanciers Association) and ACFA (American Cat Fanciers Association) websites for breeder listings. Make sure to do your research on how to find a reputable breeder.
