Pour a bit of peroxide a few times daily into the spot to keep it disinfected and encourage the head to come out and the head should work itself out.

Next time, instead of pulling a tick, the best way to remove a tick is to put rubbing alcohol on the area, which will cause a tick to withdraw its head and come out on its own. Then pick the tick up with tweezers and drop the tick into a small jar of alcohol which will kill the tick.

Even better, keep your cat inside & start giving your cat monthly cat flea & tick prevention drops such as Frontline or Advantage II for cats, which will kill any fleas or ticks on your cat and prevent further infestations.
