Your kitty is still a baby. Although many cats use their paws AND their mouths to explore their "new" world, you have to teach him that biting is not acceptable, just like the mama cat would. Do not play with him with your hands or feet. He will see them as "toys". No one in your family should use their hands to play with him. Use a feather/teaser fishing pole or a laser light. You can also teach him to play "fetch" with a catnip mouse. If he bites when you play, he is becoming over-excited and you need to take the playtime down a notch. When he bites, tell him very sternly "NO BITE" and stop playing, put him off your lap and/or just walk away. Don't hit him or yell at him. He'll learn that when he bites, the fun stops. And, his nuzzling is just his way of saying "I love you."
