Our cat, George has passed away a week ago. His best friend, Stanley, our other cat seems to be depressed and sometimes angry. He used to come running when we called him, and does not do this anymore even if we tempt him with treats. He seems listless and often him ears are back.
Is it too early to get another cat for Stanley? How else can we help him?

I would get him a new friend to help with his depression. If I didn't have my three when Pookie died, I don't know what I would have done, but they knew for a while and handled it much better than I did. ^_^ You do not want his anger to become permanent... keep trying with treats also; Greenies just came out with a new Catnip flavor!!
