I am so sorry for your loss. Animals do mourn, just like humans. And, they can also pick up on your own sadness. Seeing them mourn for a lost sibling almost makes our own grief worse. I've learned that it does take time to adjust to the absence. You are doing what you can to make this sad time easier for her. Continue what you're doing and make sure she gets lots of love and cuddles which will also make YOU feel better. This might not be a good time to get another cat if you have condsidered it. Make sure Lulu is back on her feet again and willing to accept another cat. If she stops eating, using the box, or suffers a personality change, it's time to call your vet. Good luck and many purrs to you and your family.
