If this is a sudden change in behavior, I would make sure that your vet has tested this kitty for a unrinary tract infection or UTI. She can be healthy in other aspects, but if she has an infection, she will not use the box because it burns and hurts and she thinks it's the box causing it. Otherwise, if she tests negative for a UTI, she probably wants her own box away from the others. Delilah is like that. She doesn't like to share a box and will use the bathtub or rugs. Set her up with a box in a private area and show her where it is. Make sure the other cats don't harrass her while she's using it. And make sure that you clean up any inappropriate spots she's used with an oxy or enzyme based cleaner.
