Zane

My Zane has taken to yowling in the wee hours of the morning. I'm not getting enough sleep. What can I do?

He doesn't want to play. He has food. He doesn't want to be petted or cuddled. The vet says that there's nothing wrong with him medically.

Where is your cat sleeping? Maybe he wanted to sleep beside you. There are cats also that they don't want to sleep beside you but they want to see if there is someone with him (that is my cat's attitude). You can also try talking to him and telling him that you need to sleep. Try doing it in a commanding way but not begging him to stop yowling, sometimes it works but needs time to let your beloved cat to understand. If the yowling is seasonal (like for straight 4 days then it will stop and will occur after a couple of months), maybe there is a female cat near your place :)
