My kitten is dragging its back legs behind it, what could it be? The kitten just showed up one day. It has had diarrea.

You need to get this poor kitten to the vet. The dragging of the legs could be spinal damage from trauma or a genetic defect. It wouldn't be fair for a cat to have to live like that without medical treatment. The diarrhea could also be cause by the paralyzed back legs- his digestive system might not be working properly.

Please take your baby to the vet!

Well, you need to take the kitten to a vet to know what is wrong. It could be a genetic defect, some kind of trauma, only a vet will know for sure. If you can't afford to care for this kitten that showed up, call your humane society or animal control or rescue groups.

Linus is right. We aren't vets here and even if we were, we shouldn't be diagnosing and suggesting treatment. If we gave the wrong advice, we could cost a cat it's life. You already know this baby has to go to the doctor. As Linus said, if you can't afford it, check with your local shelter as they sometimes provide free or low-cost vet care. Some compassionate vets will even work with you to help pay the bill if you rescue a cat. Good luck.
