Cats do "talk", and they all have their own language. Sometimes, oddly enough, it sounds like they're speaking OUR language! Maine Coon cats are known for their trilling, squeaking and other noises. At night, Izzie will call his sister, Delilah when he can't find her and I swear he says, "Ya-YA-ya?".! He uses the same meow each time he's trying to find her! He also uses the same sounds when he's hungry or when he comes into a room and greets us. Izzie's "Brother From Another Mother", Lokie who lives in Maine, can say "Mama!" Your kitten is talking to you and as you get to know her better and listen to her sounds, you'll begin to recognize what she's saying to you!

Penny

Penny is my squeaker! She will follow me around and trill or make these adorable high pitched meows, and just all these cute little verbalizations.

Sheldon calls for me in a rather loud voice like any kid would.
