My cat ran away after we bought home a baby. Came back but not eating well. Any idea to make her eating habit back?

The problem may not be that she's not eating, but that something happened to her while she was gone. She could be injured or have eaten something while she was gone that has made her sick. I know what an uproar having a new baby in the house is, but you need to get your cat baby to the vet's to make sure she's OK. If she was poisoned or injured, this will not go away by itself and she needs to be seen as soon as you can get her in to the vet.

The stress of a new anything in the house will definitely upset a cat so after taking her to the vet to make sure she didn't get injured or pick up anything bad when she ran away, try getting a Feliway diffuser for your home. It's like those plug in air fresheners but it puts out synthetic cat pheromones, which will help your cat feel more comfortable. Vets recommend Feliway when you introduce a new cat into the home or when there are other changes in the cat's life so why not try it since there's a new baby? You can get them on Amazon for about $22 & it should last a month. Good luck!
