My cat is throwing up liquid not just food is any one having this problem????

i have a male cat that is throwing up food but then 5 minutes after he goes to another part of the room and throws up liquid sometimes its clear sometimes its white like spit. Today he threw up food then yellow liquid wat could this be from?????

Sophie gave you very good advice in your first post of this question. Without seeing your cat, even if we were a vet, it woud not be possible for us to know why he's vomiting. And, unless you put a "kitty-cam" on him, it's not possible for you to know if he's "gotten into" something that's made him sick, like a plant or something else. It could be anything from, as Sophie says, eating too fast to an intestinal blockage. If you can't afford a vet, call anyway and tell them your cat is sick and needs to be seen. Most vets will work out a payment plan with you.

I just wanted to add that cats almost always throw up a second or third time after the initial barf that gets the food out of their tummy. So the liquid is just what's left in there once the food comes out. And I agree that if this is an ongoing issue with him, you should be concerned about the cause of the vomiting as well as possible dehydration. A single occurrence might just be a little kitty flu but if this is going on for days at a time, please call the vet.
