My cat is a female, spayed when she was around 3 months old. She is now about 8 months old. She is very sweet and mild tempered. She is lathargic now & does not play. She has not gone to the bathroom in almost a week & I feel like she is in pain. I do not know what to do.

You should go the vet. Maybe she has too much hair stuck in the stomach or something like this. Anway a vet could run some blood test or do a radio , but if it has been a week you should definetly go have her checked.
