my cat is forever cleaning hisself and scratching...i have looked and found no fleas...any suggestions?

Cats have a long list of skin conditions, and the only one who can REALLY tell what's going on is a vet who can look at him and examine him. He could have fleas, but if he is long-haired you might have missed them. Even 1 or 2 fleas can make him miserable. Allergies can also cause him to scratch himself and over-groom. If he hasn't been to the vet in a while, it's a good idea to take him to find out what's going on.

I have a 17 year old tabby . She was scratching constantly around her neck and face . SHE ALSO SCRATCHED UNDER HER CHIN . SHE HAD AN UNDER ACTIVE THYROID . ALSO SHE HAD A BAD TOOTH THAT HAD TO COME OUT . HOPE YOUR CAT DOES WELL.
